Using Roadmapit
By accessing or using Roadmapit at roadmapit.xyz (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU and UK) to create an account.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Usernames must not impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights. We may reclaim usernames that do.
Credits and payments
Generating a full roadmap uses one credit, and if generation fails the credit is returned automatically. New accounts receive free credits on sign-up, and you can buy more as a one-time purchase — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Purchased credits don't expire, have no cash value, and can't be transferred to another account.
Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases. If something goes wrong with a purchase, email hello@roadmapit.xyz and we'll work with you to put it right, including a refund where appropriate or required by law.
AI-generated content
Roadmaps are generated by artificial intelligence. They are a starting point for self-directed learning, not professional, academic, legal, medical or financial advice. Generated content can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and suggested resources may change or disappear.
Use your own judgement, and check important information against reliable sources before relying on it.
Your content
You keep ownership of the goals you write, your profile and the roadmaps in your account. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content so we can run the Service.
When you make a roadmap public, you also allow anyone to view and share it, and allow other Roadmapit users to star it and fork a copy into their own account. You can make it private again at any time; copies that others have already forked stay in their accounts.
Only publish content you have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, hateful or harassing, or to publish such content.
- Infringe other people's intellectual property or privacy.
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts.
- Scrape the Service at scale, or automate generation to get around credit limits.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
We may remove public content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Our service
The Roadmapit name, logo, design and software belong to us. We're constantly improving the Service, so features may change, and we may occasionally need to pause it for maintenance. We'll give reasonable notice before discontinuing any paid feature.
Ending your use
You can stop using Roadmapit at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@roadmapit.xyz. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as disclaimers and limits of liability — survive termination.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated roadmaps will meet your goals.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadmapit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of the page, and for material changes we'll let signed-in users know in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
